All of DateCerto's educational content is produced by Equipe DateCerto, our editorial team. We believe information about sexuality should be warm and, above all, trustworthy. This page explains how we write.
Who writes
Our articles are bylined Equipe DateCerto. We don't invent experts or attribute texts to fictional professionals. When content is reviewed by a real specialist, that's stated explicitly in the byline.
How we cite sources
Every factual or statistical claim comes with its real, linked source, and we state the size and type of the study. We don't use unsourced numbers or marketing surveys presented as science. When there's no reliable Brazilian data, we say so instead of inventing it.
Health and safety content
We're an educational platform, not a medical service. Information about practices that carry risk includes safety guidance and, where needed, a recommendation to consult a professional. Nothing here replaces medical or psychological care.
Expert review
We're working toward having our content reviewed by credentialed sexuality specialists. When an article goes through that review, the reviewer's name will appear on it.
Corrections
We make mistakes like any publication — and we fix them. If you found something incorrect, let us know and we'll verify and adjust.
